Welcome to the Game III: Farm DOS Coin on VirtMesh
Get a stable DOS Coin income from VirtMesh without losing machines. Host rate tiers, mount vs mine rules, grid upgrade order, rotation timing, and mistakes that lock you out of income for the whole run.
Core goal: Get a stable DOS Coin income from VirtMesh without losing machines, so you can buy DarkDrop tools before threats and rival NPCs snowball. Mining is your backbone income, but sitting on one box too long locks it for the rest of the run. The farm is not set and forget. It is rotate, prioritize high-rate hosts, spend early, and treat incoming hacks as extra payout.
1How to Farm, In Order
- 1Install VirtMesh first and treat it as income, not a browser.
After a host is hacked you get two choices: MOUNT (use A.N.N or tools) or MINE (passive DOS). Mounting is for work. Mining is for money. Do not park mounted on one machine while you AFK.
- 2Hack with INJ3KT-R.
Path from A to B with arrow keys. Alternate light and dark tiles. Fail and that host is closed. Do not force a bad path just to get something. A failed inject costs you a slot for the whole run.
- 3Fill slots with the highest rate host you can see right now.
Hosts online are RNG each run. Rates themselves stay the same. Use the tier list below as your shopping order.
- 4Rotate before lockout.
Hijacked PCs do not last forever. Hop to another host for mine or mount so the current one does not get stolen and stay dead for the playthrough. Survival audio cues beat one more minute of mine rate.
- 5Buy the grid upgrade as soon as you can.
Unlock the next tier before you stack more junk Tier I boxes. Phoenix alone pays the expensive upgrade back if you can keep it mining.
- 6Keep a backdoor hack loaded at all times.
Countered intrusions pay DOS. Going in empty-handed is free money left on the table. Treat this as a second farm stream, not just defense.
- 7Side income only when mining is interrupted.
Notes-app link sales and ShadowFetch file requests (often ~40 DOS) are the safe extras. Slots are optional and can wipe an early bankroll.

Key Decisions
| Situation | Choice |
|---|---|
| Best host on the list is online | Mine it immediately. |
| Only bottom-tier hosts open | Mine one as a placeholder, keep scanning for WebTyk, UserJyx, or OpsHax and above. |
| Need the dark net now | Mount a mid host, do the work, unmount, put it back on mine if you still have the token. |
| 50-75 DOS sitting unused | Buy VM Grid Tier II before cosmetics or gambling. |
| Incoming hack plus no backdoor | You are leaking income and risk. Load one. |
| Threat sound vs extra coins | Drop mining. A locked machine is worse than a slow minute. |
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Camping one mounted machine until it gets hacked and is gone for the run. Rotate before lockout.
- Filling every slot with DataRax, WorkZap, or LogJuk instead of waiting or swapping. Hold out for the top of the current tier.
- Hoarding DOS instead of buying grid upgrades and a backdoor. Spend early to unlock higher tiers.
- Failing INJ3KT-R on a high-tier name and locking yourself out of Phoenix or OpsHax. Do not force a bad path.
- Treating slots as the main farm. VirtMesh is the clock. Gambling is a tilt tax.
- Mining through Tanner, Lucas, or power-out cues. Dead run equals zero coins.
