WARDOGS Community Server Cash Bonus vs Official Matchmaking
Community servers currently pay 5% extra End-of-Match cash after Patch 0.11. Here is what the bonus actually multiplies, when it beats official matchmaking, and how to take it without losing a loadout to a kick.
Core problem: you want more cash without wasting a 60-120 minute match on a bad server. Community servers add 5% extra End-of-Match cash (not XP, not mid-match earnings), but players keep losing that bonus to admin kicks, stacked clans, language-gated rules, long queues, and low player counts. The bonus is a one-week seeding incentive that started with the September 14 patch, so treat it as temporary.
What the 5% Actually Is
- 1It only multiplies End-of-Match cash.
Placement flat plus a percent of what you earned that match, and only if you are still in the server when the match ends. Players report roughly $5k-$20k on the end screen depending on place and banked earnings.
- 2Mid-match cash is identical on official and community.
Kills, revives, Hot Zone ticks, and logistics pay the same. Cash also persists if you leave early; you only miss the EoM slice.
- 3Earnings scale with server population.
Under ~10 players nothing pays; full rate needs ~60. Shop and vehicle costs do not scale down, so a half-empty community server is a net loss even with +5%.
Community vs Official: The Decision
| Pick Community If | Stay Official If |
|---|---|
| You will stay until the whistle. The 5% only hits at match end. | You hate power-trip kicks or language-gated servers. Players report kicks for killing an admin, not speaking the server language, or no reason. |
| The server is near full (50-60+ players). | The Community tab queue is 15-20+ minutes while Official pops instantly. |
| Rules are in a language you can read, and the name or Discord does not scream clan stack, donate, or minimum cash. | You just want consistent games this session. 5% of one EoM check is small next to a lost $12k loadout. |
| You accept an admin kick means losing the EoM bonus and any committed loadout cash. | The only community options are half-empty. Scaled payouts never beat a full official server. |
1Take the Bonus Without Getting Burned
- 1Open the Community tab, not Official.
Patch 0.11 split the browser. Community IDs now persist across map changes, and there is text search plus an empty/full toggle. Use search instead of scrolling.
- 2Filter for full or nearly full servers first.
Ignore anything under ~40 players unless friends are already in. Low pop means scaled-down payouts at full-price shop costs.
- 3Read the server name and rules before you buy a loadout.
Look for language requirements, hardcore or infantry-only tags, minimum level or cash, donate requests, or clan tags. Players lost cash buying gear and then getting kicked because rules were only in French. If you cannot read the rules, do not join.
- 4Join, but do not spend big until you know you can stay.
Buy a cheap first life. If you see a donate banner, a stacked score, or get a bad vibe, leave. You keep mid-match cash and only miss EoM.
- 5Play the same cash loop as official, and finish the match.
Hot Zone ticks and teamplay still print the bulk of the money. The 5% only multiplies the end screen, so quitting a losing game wastes the entire reason you joined.
- 6If kicked mid-match, check whether it was a bug.
Random kicks are a top reported issue on both official and community right now. Do not assume every kick is an admin. If it repeats on one host, blacklist that server ID.
- 7Write down the server ID of any good host.
IDs persist after restarts, but there is no favorites system that survives an exit. Note the ID if you want to return.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Treating 5% as "double cash." It only applies to End-of-Match. Several threads started because players expected 2x.
- Joining a 20-26 player hardcore server and wondering why gear is unaffordable. Payouts scale; shop prices do not.
- Spending $7k-$12k at spawn on a language-locked or clan server, then getting kicked. No refund once you have committed.
- Touching farm, AFK, or trade-kill servers. Devs track every server you enter and will zero cash and XP plus ban for exploit farms. The 5% is not cover for that.
- Sitting a long Community queue while Official is popping. Time is usually worth more than 5% of one EoM check.
