Is Lucy Worth Building?

Community Verdict
S0 Viable Yes - Strong with free Rebecca. Many players call her a "menace" in Spectro teams. Handles most endgame content.
Skill Floor Higher than average - Algorithm Compression state management and RAM choices in Liberation require practice. Not plug-and-play.
S2 Spike ~27% team DMG increase. Worth investing in if you enjoy her. S3 is even more significant.
Pull For Collab fans, players needing Spectro DPS, pistol/hacker playstyle enjoyers.
Skip If You already have strong Spectro options and don't enjoy the playstyle.
First thing to do: Claim Rebecca from the event for free - she is core to Lucy's best team and makes the S0 experience dramatically stronger. Don't attempt endgame content without her.

Step 1 - Weapon Priority

WeaponTierNotes
Spectral Trigger (Signature) S Best by comfortable margin. CRIT stats plus direct kit synergy with hack states. Target S0R1 as first investment goal.
Phasic Homogenizer (F2P/BP) A Strong free option. Good for hack application and break damage. Solid if you don't have the signature.
Static Mist / BP Options B Provide CRIT and stats as backup. Use until you can craft or obtain higher tier options.

Step 2 - Echo Sets and Stats

Best Sets 1pc Shadow of Shattered Dreams + 2pc Spectro + 2pc Spectro, or full sets for DMG bonuses. Focus on Heavy Attack DMG and Spectro DMG bonus.
Main Stats CRIT DMG / CRIT Rate on main echoes. ATK% or Energy Regen where needed for quick Liberation cycling.
Substats CRIT > ATK% > Energy Regen > Heavy Attack DMG. Build for quick ults and sustained damage in Algorithm Compression state.
Farm Now Start farming Spectro echo sets immediately. Correct substats matter more than perfect main stats - filter for CRIT first.

Step 3 - Skill Priority and Leveling

1
Forte Circuit Highest priority - powers all enhanced states
2
Resonance Liberation (Ult) Max for hack/RAM power
3
Basic Attack Core of Forte chain
4
Resonance Skill Hack application
5
Intro Skill Lowest priority

Step 4 - Core Rotation (Lucy + Rebecca)

1
Intro from Rebecca swap
Swap in from Rebecca to trigger Lucy's Intro Skill. Rebecca's turret and amp buffs carry into Lucy's window - don't skip this swap.
2
Skill 1-2 to apply hack
Use Resonance Skill to apply hack debuff on the target. This activates the Hack-Break bonus damage layer. Don't skip to Heavy Attack before applying hack.
3
Basic Attack 1-2-3 into Enhanced Skill
Run the BA chain to build Forte gauge. Enhanced Skill activates when gauge is ready. Forte BA 1-2-3-4 chain followed by Forte Heavy Attack for the Multi-Thread hit.
4
Liberation - manage RAM points for debuffs
In Liberation, allocate RAM points for vulnerability and DEF shred. Do not waste RAM on lower-value options. This is the highest-skill moment in her kit.
5
Outro back to Rebecca
Swap back to Rebecca on Outro. Let her turret run while you wait for Lucy's cooldowns. Repeat from step 1.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Skipping Rebecca - she is free from the event and core to Lucy's best team. Lucy without Rebecca loses a massive portion of her practical damage output.
Wrong echo substats - farming the right sets with wrong substats is common. Filter for CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG substats above all else before locking echoes.
Wasting Liberation RAM points - spending RAM on anything other than vulnerability and DEF shred is a significant DPS loss per rotation cycle.
Building as a support and ignoring Forte Circuit - she is a main DPS. Her Forte Circuit is her primary damage skill and should be maxed first.
Expecting instant results without practice - Algorithm Compression state transitions require deliberate learning. Practice in lower difficulty first before pushing ToA.
