Core Problem
Monument of Triumph reworks ability systems for every class simultaneously. New Aspects, a completely overhauled Ward of Dawn, an aggressive Trapper's Ambush, and a Stasis structural overhaul all land at once. The players who win day one are the ones who understand what changed and have a build plan ready before the update drops.
1 Day 1 Priority - Do This First
1.Log in and claim free rewards (Bright Engrams, Legendary Marks) before farming anything. Have resources ready for build crafting from the start.
2.Check Triumph pursuits and reward track tied to the Monument - they unlock ornaments, engrams, and a new title. Start these before touching any other content.
3.Test new Aspects in low-stakes activities (strikes, patrol) before jumping into Pantheon. Build muscle memory before high-difficulty content.
2 New Aspects by Class
Titan - Sunbreaker
Shieldburst
Solar
Deploy Rally Barricade to grant Scorching Rounds to yourself and allies
Double-tap class ability to detonate (charges via damage taken and dealt)
Scales with Class stat above 100 - prioritize this stat
Pair with: Roaring Flames, Sol Invictus, Arbor Warden, Hallowfire Heart
Hunter - Gunslinger
Crackshot
Solar
Aim to mark targets, dodge to fire up to 3 scorching shots
Land all 3 for Cure; usable while airborne
Counts toward On Your Mark and Gunpowder Gamble
Pair with: Radiant Dance Machines, Sixth Coyote
Hunter - Nightstalker
Phantom Surge
Void
Dash-slash through enemies (phases through targets)
Massive damage vs. Void-debuffed targets
Grants Overshield per hit, refunds on kills
Pair with: Trapper's Ambush rework (see below)
Warlock - Voidwalker
Soul Siphon
Void
Ready powered melee, then melee again to drain enemies for damage + Overshield + class energy
High uptime with Pocket Singularity (2 charges)
Pair with: Felwinter's Helm, Claws of Ahamkara, Karnstein Armlets
3 Major Reworks
Void
Ward of Dawn - Titan Sentinel
+Much larger bubble - allies inside get Overshield and weapon damage buff
+Enemies weakened, pulled in, and taunted toward the bubble
+Owner gets melee damage buff while the bubble is active
+Pick up and throw the core up to 2 times to reposition
Helm of Saint-14 rework: Extends Ward duration and allows Weapons of Light to persist outside the bubble. Test in strikes and Pantheon first - this is now a massive map control, offense, and defense hybrid.
Void
Trapper's Ambush - Nightstalker
+Now uses class ability energy (activates all dodge perks)
+Dive from air for massive damage - boosted while invisible or Void-buffed
+Heals on damage, Devour on kills, refreshes invisibility on hit
Invisibility is now an aggressive damage tool, not just survival. Combo with Phantom Surge melee for a full offensive Nightstalker loop.
Stasis
Stasis Structural Overhaul
+All Stasis subclasses now create Shatter Shards intrinsically (no Aspect required)
+Harvest Aspects grant Frost Armor on Shard pickup - damage reduction that melts one layer at a time
+New Stasis Shatter Grenade: stick to enemy, shrapnel detonation, instant shatters frozen targets, stuns Unstoppables
+New Strand Slicewire Grenade: bounces through areas, severs and lashes on contact
Note: Fragment slots reduced to compensate for intrinsic Shard generation. Rebuild your Stasis fragment loadouts after the patch.
Strand
Mindspun Invocation - Warlock Broodweaver
+Hold grenade to charge Threadling Grenade into a Threadling Nest turret
+Synergizes with Service of Luzaku Aspect for Threadling uptime

Key Decision Points
Class Stat vs. Grenade Stat

New damaging class-ability Aspects scale with Class stat above 100. Titans (Shieldburst) and Hunters (Crackshot) should reweight toward Class. Warlocks still lean Grenade stat.

Exotic Pairings

Test the recommended Exotics for your new Aspect first (Hallowfire, Saint-14, Claws) before experimenting. New armor tier sets give bonuses - but start with validated combos.

PvE vs. PvP

New tools are designed for PvE aggression. PvP received targeted nerfs to invis opacity, grenades, and specific supers. Test in PvE first; cautious iteration in Crucible.

Prismatic vs. Class Subclass

Non-Prismatic subclasses receive the Aspect count boost from this update. Run your preferred subclass identity to fully benefit from the new slot count.
