How the Second Suit Slot Unlocks
The second suit slot and full Suit Room open after you complete Act 1 Chapter 1 - "The Supply That Never Came." It is gated by story progress, not level or pulls. Once unlocked you can swap suits mid-combo and use Perfect Change.
Core answer: you only have one suit slot until you finish the first main chapter. Do not overthink your starter class or spend resources waiting - clear the chapter, then pair whatever suits you actually have.
1Chapter Walkthrough in Order
- 1Start the quest at the Supply Outpost.
Talk to Quartermaster Lennon, interact with the landed supply pod, and pick a resupply suit.
- 2Defend the outpost from Grug raiders.
Use combos. A tutorial popup covers Perfect Change during this fight - read it.
- 3Level your suit with the Suit EXP Chips Lennon gives.
Open suit management and use Auto Select for Basic Suit EXP Chips.
- 4Equip your ground mount.
Lennon unlocks the Mount tab. Equip one and ride to Scout Ron near the Communications Base Front.
- 5Clear Harkarn forces at the power plant.
Activate the two generators, then fight through the northern entrance.
- 6Deploy the Goliath mech.
When crewships bombard the base you take control of Duke and use dual miniguns plus missiles to clear reinforcements.
- 7Collect two emergency batteries
from backup generators around the base.
- 8Deliver the batteries and man the north-gate anti-aircraft gun.
Shoot down incoming crewships across three waves.
Key Decision After Unlock
